These tools offer content to a limited set of users for specific reports not in Power BI.

Institutional Reporting

Users: Vice Chancellors, Deans, Assistant Deans
Get access: Limited viewer licenses are available during this pilot/testing phase by contacting Steven Velasco
Use cases: interactive dashboards with comprehensive data on student enrollment, student success, faculty instructional activities
Examples: degrees conferred, time to degree, retention and graduation rates, instructional workload, student enrollment by quarter, ladder faculty profile, international student courses

Users: business officers, financial analysts, central office staff
Get access: Obtain an EZ Access account with a Data Warehouse Access Request.
Use cases: predefined reports with sort and filter features using data from several campus systems of record as well as UCPath
Examples: detail transactions inquiry, distribution of payroll expense, paid invoices inquiry, jobs by group, position roster, permanent budget and staffing

Users: business officers, financial analysts, central office staff
Get access: Obtain an Hyperion account with a Data Warehouse Access Request.
Use cases: ad-hoc reporting tool for users who create or modify queries using Data Warehouse tables and views
Examples: financial scorecard, employee leave balances, organization hierarchy, principal investigator fund balances, transfer of expense report, extramural revenue

Users: business officers, payroll managers, timekeepers, central office staff
Get access: Access to Cognos system-wide reports is based on UCPath permissions. DSAs can submit requests for UCPath access by creating a UCPath Access Request - Department request.
Use cases: predefined reports with sort and filter features built by the UCPath Reporting team
Examples: earnings by pay period, employee rosters, leave accrual and balances summary, work study award balance
